Half of the surveyed workforce had completed training in long-term learning strategies

The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, published 7 January 2025 in Switzerland, reports that 50% of the workforce covered by its employer survey had completed training as part of long-term learning strategies, compared with 41% in 2023. Treat credential validity as one part of a continuing development cycle. A current certification can show that you met a defined standard, but customer work, technology and evidence practices keep changing.

When a credential approaches renewal, review the current objectives rather than simply repeating old notes. The goal is to remain current with the standard, not preserve a badge unchanged forever.
