The fact

NIST’s Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Framework: Generative Artificial Intelligence Profile, published 26 July 2024, is a cross-sector companion to the AI Risk Management Framework. NIST says the profile centres on 13 risks and contains more than 400 actions for managing generative-AI risk. [Source: NIST, 26 July 2024.]

The document is risk-management guidance, not a sales playbook and not a certification claim.

What this means for a seller

An AI-written customer response can be useful without becoming evidence. Keep the source document, test result, approved claim or contract term beside the draft, and ask what the AI could not establish. Enterprise buyers may accept fast drafting; they still need a human seller to know which sentence the evidence can actually support before the customer acts on it in a live buying decision.
