Business-development roles remain relevant as technology and trade conditions change

The fact

This is a global employer outlook, not an APAC channel-sales forecast.
What this means for a seller
Channel work becomes more valuable when it is treated as business development rather than relationship maintenance. Build evidence that you can choose partners, create a joint market plan, enable another seller, progress shared opportunities and keep commercial authority clear between organisations. Those skills remain useful even when the partner model, geography or technology category changes across the region in practice today commercially.
