Terms of use

Effective 29 September 2026 · Edition 1.0

1. Who we are

ASTRA Ready is operated by AstraReady Technologies India Private Limited, registered office Gurugram, Haryana, India ("ASTRA Ready", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@astraready.com.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, buying anything from us, or taking a learning programme or exam, you agree to these terms, the Privacy notice, the Refund policy and the Candidate Handbook. You must be 18 or over to use ASTRA Ready.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate details. Use your name exactly as it appears on your photo ID, because it is printed on any certificate you earn.
  • One person per account and one account per person. Do not share your sign-in details. Exam limits (for example, 3 sittings in 12 months) apply to you as a person, across all accounts.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once at hello@astraready.com if you think someone else has used it.

4. Learning programmes

  • Programme access is for your own personal learning, for the period you bought or were given.
  • We keep improving our content, so lessons, practice and simulations may change. We will not remove access you have paid for during its period.
  • Our programmes teach commercial judgement about technology. Completing them does not guarantee a job, a promotion or a sale.

5. Exam vouchers and exams

  • An exam voucher lets you sit one ASTRA exam, plus one free retake after a result of "Not yet passed", within its validity. It also gives mock exam access for the same period. Full rules are in the Candidate Handbook.
  • You redeem a voucher once, on astraready.com (Certification → Redeem a voucher). Once redeemed, it belongs to your account and cannot be transferred.
  • Validity starts on the day the voucher is issued and is never extended, except as the Refund policy allows after a technical failure on our side.
  • Vouchers supplied by a training partner, college or employer are also subject to that organisation's agreement with us.

6. Exam conduct and confidentiality

  • Exams are closed book and supervised. You agree to the supervision described in the Candidate Handbook when you start an exam.
  • Exam content is confidential. You must not copy, photograph, record, share, discuss or sell it, before or after your exam.
  • If you break the exam rules we may withhold or cancel a result, revoke a credential and refuse future exams. You can appeal (see Appeals and complaints).

7. Credentials and verification

  • If you pass, we issue your credential and certificate. Each credential has a public verification page showing your name, the credential, its dates and its status, visible to anyone with its ID or link.
  • A credential attests that you passed an ASTRA Ready examination at the named level. It does not certify technical engineering or security skills, performance in a specific job, or accreditation by an external body.
  • We may correct or revoke a credential issued in error or obtained by breaking the exam rules.

8. Prices, payment and refunds

  • Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Refunds follow our Refund policy. Your rights under Indian consumer law are not affected.

9. Intellectual property

All content on ASTRA Ready, including lessons, cases, practice, simulations, exams, designs and the ASTRA Ready name and marks, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning. You must not copy, resell, publish, scrape it, or use it to build or train other products or AI systems.

10. Acceptable use

Do not attack, overload or try to break into the service; use bots or automated tools against it; share or sell account access; or use the service for anything unlawful.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep ASTRA Ready available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may change or withdraw features, with notice where a change significantly affects something you have paid for.

12. Disclaimers

Cases, organisations, people and figures in our content are fictional, except where we clearly mark an illustrative real-world example. Our content is educational and is not legal, financial, security or technical advice for your specific situation.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

14. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where the law allows. You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@astraready.com. Credential records are kept as described in the Privacy notice so employers can still verify them.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will show the new effective date and, for significant changes, email you before they apply.

16. Law, disputes and grievances

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction. Please contact us first: email hello@astraready.com. We acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within one month.
